NEWS FOR STUDENTS & POST GRADUATES

The Association of Private Universities and Institutes of Higher Education in Afghanistan (APUIHEA) and the Open Debating Society of Afghanistan – Organization (ODSAO) have signed a MoU on 23 – Oct -2016 to satisfy mutual needs in the spheres of debate programs, public speaking, leadership, management, social awareness and democracy awareness for students and post graduates of private universities and institutes of higher education in Afghanistan. 
ODSAO as a national organization is affiliated with the International Debate Education Association (IDEA), Asian Debate Institute (ADI) and Malaysian Debate Open (MDO). As an organization with nationwide operations, ODSAO leadership has undertaken National Debate Initiative (NDI) which includes series of programs and chain of activities for Afghan youths and students to develop their capacities, tolerance and to promote the culture of logical dialogue and polish their outstanding talents towards a brighter future for the homeland.
We at the APUIHEA are pleased for this development and actively strive to support ODSAO in the implementation of the intervention and the intended activities. At the meantime, higher education institutions are highly encouraged to take full advantage of this important program and thus satisfy needs of their students and the alumni in thematic areas covered by our MoU.
